What do you do when you want to talk in class?
By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you get in class?
You hang up backpack on a hook, put your folder in the bucket, take your chair down, and come in quietly to the carpet.
What do you when you walk to the office or lunch?
You walk in a quietly through the halls and in a line.
When you come to school late like after 9:30, what do you do?
You need to go to the office to get a late slip.
How do you get your group to work together?
By taking turns talking and sharing.
What do you do to help other be a better student?
You encourage others by saying positive things. No put downs!
How do you ask for help in class?
You ask someone at your table. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.
Where should 3rd grade students play during recess?
Where an adult can see you; not behind the PFA shed.
How many people is considered a group?
2 or more people.
How do students respect other students properties?
By not touching things that don't belong to you. Ask to use first before taking anything.
When can I use the bathroom?
Before school, during recess, and lunch recess. But you may ask during the day and wait for permission.
What happens when the whistle is blown?
Freeze and clean up and line up.
How do we use the Outdoor Classroom?
What jobs are at the end of the day?
materials master, magnet mover, sweeper, circle leader
How should students sit on the carpet?
Quietly with personal space. Your body should be touching the large rug. Nobody should be turned away from the screen or teacher.
When can I sharpen my pencil?
You may do so when working independently, not while the teacher is giving a lesson.
What do you do when the yard duty person blows the whistle?
You will walk quietly to you line and line up.
How do we sit on the benches in front of the classrooms?
Sitting on our bottoms quietly waiting for directions from an adult.
What does a good working group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting your work or project done.
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, taking turns sharing, and using appropriate language and gestures.
How do students line up?
How should you behave in the the cafeteria?
You should quietly line up, get your lunch card, and get in line and wait your turn.
How can you leave the classroom?
Ask permission and take the pass.
What kind of noise will working in group sound like?
Students talking quietly but not disrupting others.
