We use speaker (level 3) voice to say "Thank you" and don't talk after that.

What do you do if you have to use the bathroom?

Think about whether or not it is a good time to go. Check to see if the boy or girl cone or cup is on someone's table. Show the teacher the correct bathroom sign (crossed fingers). Sign out. Quickly and quietly walk to the bathroom so that you do not distract classmates. Sign in when you return.

How do we treat our books in the library?

Like we love them! We take good care of our books and make sure they are safe. Put them back where they belong when we are done using them.

What are some ways we can be safe on the playground?

Go down the slide and not up, swing by sitting on bottom, go down slide sitting down facing forward, play tag and other running games on the ground not on the playground, take turns on the slide and monkey bars.

By listening to them, taking turns sharing, showing empathy and respect, and using appropriate language and gestures.

How do students line up?

I push in my chair when my teacher allows me to line up. I line up in my correct spot in line order. I show HALL behavior so I'm ready for the hall.

How do we dismiss using SPOT behavior?

Be in "HALLs" when in line, walk outside quietly with bags packed and closed, stay with teacher until you show that your parent/guardian is there, be sure to say goodbye to your teacher, stay with parent once you leave your class, walk on sidewalks and follow crossing guard's instructions if you must cross the street.

How should you behave in the cafeteria?

Voice level should be 0-2, walk holding trays of food firmly, say thank you to the lunch staff, do not take more food than you will be able to finish, focus on your food and not talking so much.
