What do you do when you get in class?
Sharpen pencils and take down our chairs. No walking around or playing.
What do you do if you come to school late
Enter the room quietly and hand in your late pass. Complete the morning procedure (hand in homework, check for 2 sharpened pencils). Whisper to a groupmate to ask what you may have missed.
What do you do when you walk in the hallway?
You walk quietly, in a straight line at a good pace.
How do you get your group to work together?
By taking turns talking, sharing and most importantly listening.
How should we treat our classmates?
Be kind. Be nice.
How do you ask for help in class?
You quietly ask your partner and group. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.

You're quiet, holding the number 1 in the air showing that you're ready.
How many people is considered a group?
2 or more people.
What do you do if you have to use the bathroom?
Think about whether or not it is a good time to go. Show the teacher the correct bathroom sign. Quickly and quietly walk to the bathroom so that you do not distract classmates.
How do we treat our books in the library?
Like we love them! We take good care of our books and make sure they are safe.

Silently stand and push your chair in. Still holding your 1 in the air.
What do you do if you broke a class rule, are feeling an uncomfortable emotion, or are having a disagreement?
What are the 3 R's?
Be respectful responsible and ready.
When can I sharpen my pencil? What do I do if I need a sharpened pencil throughout the day?
Before school. You can also BORROW a sharp pencil from your pencil pouch or classmate.
My desk should be organized and should only include school supplies.
What does show me 3 mean? How do students line up?
I quietly walk on line and wait quietly with my 1 in the air.
What does a good working group look like?
They are sharing, helping, and encouraging others and getting your work or project done.
How do we act during small group time?
Quietly in our assigned activity, not bothering Ms. French unless it's an emergency.
How do we act during dismissal?
Quietly pack and up follow our teachers instructions.
How should you behave in the cafeteria?
If you are on line to get school lunch, you should be paying attention and keeping a calm body. When sitting at a table you should make sure everyone is being included and keeping your volume level at a "group" volume.
What kind of noise will working in group sound like?
Voice level 1 or 2.
