When we hit a fly on the highway at extremely high speeds, the car doesn't break. But if we hit a metal ball it will.

Why? (Hint: Think of Newton's laws)

Newtons third law states: every action has an equal and opposite reaction. So, the fly on impact, hits the car with the same force (very weak). But a metal ball with hit the car much harder, as much as the car hits the ball.

If you punch a friends face, the face hits your hand with the same force your hand hits the face.
