Explain weathering an erosion
Weathering- weather breaking down rocks
Erosion- The breakdown of earth's surface
Name the layers of the atmosphere
Troposphere, Stratosphere, Mesosphere, Thermosphere, Exosphere
What part of the plant soaks up water and nutrients?
The roots
What happens after sediments become sedimentary rocks?
Heat, compaction, and pressure

They breathe in Carbon Dioxide and they breathe out Oxygen
what does compaction mean and when is it used?
to pack something close and tight together, it is sued to make metamorphic rocks

Define Photosynthesis
What is the outer core made of and what does it provide for the earth?
Liquid nickel and iron and it provides the earths magnetic field
What is the photosynthesis equation?
6 Carbon + 6 Water + Sunlight Energy = 1 Glucose and 6 Oxygen
Explain the whole rock cycle to me
Magma is inside of a volcano, when the volcano erupts the lava cools and turns into igneous rocks, weathering and erosion occurs turning the igneous rocks into sediments, the sediments form together turning into sedimentary rocks, with heat and pressure the sedimentary rocks form together creating metamorphic rocks, those metamorphic rocks melt back into the group restarting the cycle.
What percent of earth is water?
71%
