Tutors are to check their TeamUp frequently. Specialists and Leads work on adding/dropping appointments, and it is important that tutors are checking to avoid missing appointments.

Tutors are assigned drop-in hours to provide help to students who are either looking for a one time help or don’t have an appointment.

Where can I access Noot

Access NOOT through the Learning Services Department Tutors Canvas home page. Note: You will not be able to access NOOT hours until you first start your timesheet on Webstar.

Review Session- No Shows

Expectations

Tutors coming in for drop-ins will pick up their name plate and place it at a table. While waiting, tutors can work on arranging or studying material related to tutoring.

Changes throughout the semester 

At the beginning of the semester, tutors can update, add, or close their hours or class list. After this period, any changes should be avoided unless approved by a specialist.

Inputting Noot hours

For each work day, input hours worked and the corresponding program. If you do not know the program for hours worked, check your TeamUp to review the program for your scheduled hours.

Review sessions are held.

If they are Tutors, they will hold Review Sessions and Class Support times inside the library, unless they are a Professional Expert

Pay periods

Before the 10th, Check and make sure your timesheet on Webstar matches the pay period. Your Webstar timesheet will reflect your hours and program inputted on Noot.

Classroom Expectations 

The tutor is expected to attend class, take notes, and assist students during class.

When having multiple students

Address students questions generally rather than one on one. Manage time with different students; avoid spending too much time on one subject.

Dropping a Student's Appointment

After three absences notify the appointment team, then they will send out the last email regarding the student being dropped.

Steps on Submitting timesheet

1.After inputting your hours on Noot for the pay period, log in to Webstar and the Employee Self Service Links. Click “Employee.” 

2.Click “Preview” for your timesheet.

3.Submit for approval, and done!
