What is confidentiality?
This manipulated variable causes the other to change. Examples include interventions, programs, practices (e.g., mindfulness, SEL, trauma-informed, CBITS, play therapy)
What is an independent variable?
This evidence-based intervention uses interactive activities (i.e. toys, games, drawing, role play) to help students communicate their feelings; engages the natural language of students
What is play therapy?

What is qualitative research?

Problem-solving, short-term evidence-based intervention that focus on strength-based and student-centered approaches
What is Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)?
SSWers use this type of research to measure to an intervention and the withdrawal of that intervention
What is single-subject design research?
This is the section of the literature that focuses on what the researcher does to gather information
What is the methods section?
A "quick" level of review can be approved without a meeting of the IRB (i.e., studies that collect identifiable information through surveys and interviews)

SSW adaptive behavior scale that focuses on a person’s abilities in basic areas, including communication, daily living, socialization, and motor skills
