Yes, when Digital Updates release in Premium Pearson Digital Products and stand-alone Pearson eText, they become out-of-sync with the latest print edition and 3rd party eBooks.  This approach means subscribers using digital products directly from Pearson get more value and the latest content.  It also means we need to set expectations for our customers and offer the right support.
