Why do we have to take SOL tests?
SOL tests are end of the year tests to assess what you have learned throughout the school year.
*Remember, the test does not measure how amazing you are as a person! Just do your best!*

What if you notice others are finishing their test but you are not close to being done?
Try to focus on your test and not pay attention to what others are doing. Do your best on your test and take your time.

Why is it important to get to school on time the day of the test?
To make sure you have time prepare for the test with your class and not miss any important information. Testing will start by 8:30 a.m. You should arrive on time so you can test with your class on your testing days.

What is an alerting strategy you can use if you are feeling tired during the test?
Get a drink of water, massage your temples, go to the bathroom and put cold water on your face. Ask to stretch or take a short walk. Take slow, quiet breaths to fill your brain with oxygen.
