What are Stand Ups?
These are conducted semi-annually and are intended to provide each employee with a clear understanding of their current performance as well as requirements for career progression. Feedback is collected through self-evaluations and 360 feedback from colleagues, then is compiled into a final summary.
What are Performance Reviews?
Orange vs. navy is an intense rivalry that takes comes alive during this annual event. Kickball, lawn games, and relay races help each team earn points for the coveted trophy and year-long bragging rights. A catered lunch rounds out the day where both teams come back together as one community.
What is Field Day?
Every Friday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, we close down the office at 3:00 pm. This perk allows employees to get a jump start on their weekend and enjoy summertime activities with family and friends.
What are Friday Summer Hours?
Throughout the fall, MB offers in-person and virtual information sessions and attends industry specific career fairs in order to attract highly qualified students.
What is College Recruiting?
Published quarterly, this focuses on the personal side of MB employees and their accomplishments.
What is The Bridge Newsletter?
These are awarded semi-annually in conjunction with performance reviews. Amounts range and are dependent upon the success of the firm as a whole and individual performance.
What are bonuses?
The MarketBridge office transforms into a mini golf course during this annual event. Teams are tasked with creating two themed mini golf holes, paired with a corresponding beverage. After playing the full course, votes are casted for the most creative hole and the winning team is announced.
What is the Putt-Putt Tournament?
We encourage all employees to begin saving for retirement. As such, this program will match all employee contributions up to 3% annually.
What is the 401(k) Matching Program?
Annually, MarketBridge strives to achieve this prestigious award. Based on a detailed employee engagement survey, including topics ranging from employee development to innovation, this award recognizes the highest ranked workplaces in the region.
What is the Washington Post Top Workplaces Award?
We hold these quarterly, where the entire firm comes together to hear updates from leadership about YTD financials, new projects, general operations, and talent acquisition. These are paired with company-sponsored lunches and social events.
What are All Hands Meetings?
Each employee is assigned one of these - someone who focuses on their career, growth, and experience. They help facilitate professional development, write performance reviews, and make recommendations to leadership for career progression and bonus.
What is a Supervisor?
Each December, MarketBridge throws this epic party to celebrate the winter holidays and a year of success. Formal attire, hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and music make it a memorable evening to enjoy the company of our colleagues.
What is the Holiday Party?
This dedicated space in the office serves as a place for physical and mental rejuvenation. Equipped with soft lighting, soothing sounds, and a massage chair, employees may utilize this room during the workday to focus on their personal health.
What is the Wellness Room?
Incoming Analysts are assigned one of these, a person who is their go-to resource for all things MarketBridge. From moving to the area to preparing a work wardrobe, this person can answer all questions to ensure the Analysts feel prepared for their first day.
What is a MB Buddy?
Each year, we conduct this and the results are reviewed closely and shared with the leadership team. The feedback we receive helps inform our policies, procedures, and overall goals for the firm.
What is Employee Engagement Survey?
These awards are given out quarterly to recognize those who show exceptional work, demonstrate outstanding performance, and exemplify commitment and dedication.
What are "Above and Beyond" Awards?
This program gives employees frequent opportunities to participate in volunteer service projects designed to help those in need in our community. From park trash collection to cooking support, we try and give back in many ways.
What is MB Cares?
MarketBridge values the thoughts, ideas, and feelings of each employee and uses this as a way for everyone to express themselves anonymously. They are encouraged to submit anything that is concerning or anything they want addressed by the leadership team.
What is the Anonymous Suggestion Box Portal?
Through a variety of mediums, MarketBridge seeks to educate our clients and prospects by providing unique guidance on solving sales, marketing, and revenue issues while honing in on core market challenges.
What are Webinar, Case Study, and Whitepaper series?
These are designed to keep all employees engaged with the work that is being done at the firm. Each month, a new presenter shares an exciting project they are working on, which gives everyone an opportunity to learn about content outside of their immediate scope.
What are Knowledge Shares?
We utilize this software that gives our employees access to hundreds of training sessions, including core skills, specialized skills, and emerging trends. This will also track progress, give awards and certificates, and show overall career progression.
What is Learning Management System?
All new MarketBridge employees participate in this tradition at the end of each year. New hires for that year come together to plan and film a video that depicts their first year as an MBer. With roasts of the leadership team and spoofs of daily work life, this always leaves everyone rolling with laughter.
What is the New Hire Skit?
These are provided to all hybrid employees as a means for improving physical and mental health. Having the option to sit or stand during the workday may reduce back pain, improve energy levels, and boost productivity.
What are standing desks?
We actively manage this profile and run campaigns to increase reviews and traffic throughout the year. This is a key research tool for prospective employees and clients.
