What would you tell him?
God loves when you are honest to him! Parker can pray and ask what he can do to not feel this way.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Scenario:
A farmer has two daughters.
One daughter asks the father,
"Please pray for it to rain. The weather is too sunny and the crops are dry."
The other daughter asks,
"Father, we have a pottery business and if it rains, we will not be able to dry the pots. Can you pray for it to be sunny?"
The father is in a dilemma. What should he do?
He should pray and allow the situation to be in God's hands.
In the story, he says "God, do as you wish. Let the decision be final" because he trusts the will of God.
