What are the steps of the Closing procedure. 


  • One authorized team member for the alarm system and another team member must ensure the following procedures are complete to secure the branch after closing.
  • Other team members leaving the branch after closing must ensure another team member locks the front door behind them.
  • Any team member using other exit doors (e.g., emergency exit door) is responsible for ensuring the door is locked behind them.
  • Verify that all vaults are locked and cabinet locks are secured according to the Secured Items Storage procedures.
  • Ensure drawers containing a tracking device are locked prior to closing and exiting the branch.
  • Scan the branch for any documents containing sensitive information, (e.g., Personal Identifiable Information [PII]) and ensure they are stored according to the Secured Items Storage procedures.
  • Thoroughly inspect the following areas, as accessible, to verify that no one remains in the branch:
