What are two features of either Atlantic or Cantabrian watersheds? (for double points give features of both)

Atlantic:

  • Rivers in Galicia are short. Heavy precipitation means there is high volume of water and regular flow.

  • Meseta are long with irregular flows due to low precipitation

  • The south are both short and long, irregular flows

Cantabrian:

  • Rivers are short.

  • Abundant with regular flows, lot of precipitation.

  • Fast, because of short lengths and high volumes.

  • Cordillera cantabrica and the montes vascos are sources.
