Explain the purpose of a de-escalation plan and how families can utilize one?
A de-escalation plan gives youth and caregiver specific and concrete instructions on what to do when the youth’s behavior is escalating and/or after an event. The young person and/or caregiver will identify the things that will relax or calm them and ensure that there are skills that can be utilized in each necessary location (home, school, work, etc.).

3. Check "No-Show" Boxes in the note ; also put "Session Attempt" and "Did not show" for Activity Type and Encounter with boxes
4. Explain why it was a NS session in the progress summary (no template needed)
When signing the YFRC with a family what are some things you should consider?
1. When you sign and the family signs, it is within a few minutes of each other
2. You add your credentials at the end of your signature
3. That you can see the entire signature within the box
4. It should be completed as the last step of EOM review
